Dota 2, "Spring Cleaning" Update

Valve ha rilasciato una nuova patch primaverile per Dota 2, che porta alcune novità e fa alcune... "pulizie di primavera" riguardo ai bug. Le principali meccaniche introdotte comportano utili migliorie all'HUD per i principianti, quali la segnalazione del range delle torri, consigli visivi su come bloccare i campi dei creep neutrali; Segnalazione del bersaglio attivo della torre; Possibilità di impostare delle hotkey per la visuale, hotkey personalizzate per le singole unità; Migliorie all'arsenale degli oggetti (aumento degli oggetti massimi di base a 10000 e nuovi filtri disponibili); Possibilità di mutare indipendentemente la chat o la chat vocale di un singolo giocatore e la possibilità di salvare le proprie impostazioni non legate alla macchina (quali le impostazioni grafiche) direttamente su Steam Cloud.
Modifiche anche al sistema di Assist che d'ora in poi fornirà assist anche agli alleati che hanno fornito buff sull'alleato che ha compiuto l'uccisione o lanciato un debuff sull'unità uccisa, non è chiaro come funzionerà con i buff globali quali l'aura di Crystal Maiden.

I fix più notevoli, sia in grado di impatto sul gameplay che di "noia" arrecata", riguardano la sistemazione delle personalizzazioni dei custom game, come quelli applicati ai nomi degli eroi, che non venivano correttamente rimossi dopo l'uscita da una modalità personalizzata; la possibilità di prevedere in anticipo alcune abilità casuali (come il colpo di grazia di Phantom Assassin) e i diversi bug legati al controllo delle unità. Ulteriori migliorie riguardano la correzione di molti elementi dell'interfaccia grafica di Dota 2 Reborn, quale l'MMR che d'ora in poi si aggiornerà correttamente dopo le partite classificate, l'inclusione di nuovi modelli di eroi nel workshop, la presenza di nuovi modelli per gli oggetti a terra (come la bottiglia vuota), diversi fix alle animazioni di unità ed eroi (come quella del corriere che ripete l'animazione della morte); Sistemate le diverse interazioni del Lotus Orb con moltissime skill ed infine sono state sistemate le varie interazioni fra autocast, smartcast ed autoattack, un problema "storico" di Dota 2.

In sostanza i fix e le migliorie sono veramente tantissime e dovrebbero permettere di avere un gioco molto più pulito e stabile sia nella interfaccia grafica, che era piena di problemi, sia lato gioco in cui spessissimo ci si trovata contro bug,anche di minore entità come quelli grafici, che pur non compromettendo l'esito della partita "annoiavano" comunque l'utente.

Purtroppo Valve sta facendo prendere, pian piano, un'ottica fin troppo semplificata del titolo, avvicinandolo sempre più al diretto concorrente League of Legends, di cui ha già preso ispirazione per l'indicazione visiva delle torri e del loro bersaglio attivo, incentivano fin troppo azioni aggressive e la mancanza di spinta verso la "crescita per tentativi" (o per studio della wiki) su come si gestisce l'aggressività della torre.

User Interface

    After clicking on a keybind control, it will present you with an X button which can be used to unbind that key — double-clicking a keybind control will also unbind it
    Fixed the Match Details page to update properly when it's waiting for a pending replay to become available

    Using Voice Chat in the dashboard now more clearly shows who is talking
    Fixed a rare case where two heroes could be picked at the same time in Ranked All Pick
