Rilasciato l'aggiornamento 1.30 per Warcraft III

Dopo l'incredibile (per la sua inaspettata comparsa) aggiornamento 1.29 per Warcraft III, la Blizzard rilascia l'aggiornamento 1.30 che prosegue l'opera del suo precedessore, migliorando il supporto al Widescreen con aggiunte grafiche per riempirne i vuoti nei vari menù, Lobby di gioco espanse fino a 24 giocatori con relativi nuovi colori, diversi cambiamenti e bilanciamenti agli Eroi ed  espansione del World Editor.
Una grossa nota importante per questo aggiornamento è l'abbandono dello storico Windows XP : questo sarà l'ultimo aggiornamento disponibile per questa versione di Windows.

    Set/GetAbilityOnXXXX functions are renamed to Set/GetAbilityActivatedXXXX
    SetUnitNameAll is disabled for now
    PlaySpecialEffect is disabled for now
    PlaySpecialEffectWithTimeScale is disabled for now
    Crash: With an ability that has “Disabled”=false, attempting to set “Disabled” to false again will crash the World Editor
    UnitDisableAbility does not hide an ability with Hide=true and Disabled=false
    Default map directory is for from maps when creating custom games
    Resolution does not change properly when switching between windowed and full screen
    Tooltips for hero abilities may not be updated
