Undead Labs ha mostrato all'Xbox Games Showcase 2026 un nuovo trailer per State of Decay 3, annunciando che uscirà nel corso del 2027 per Xbox Series, PlayStation 5 e PC tramite Xbox e Steam. Il video ha mostrato degli zombie più aggressivi ed evoluti rispetto ai due precedenti capitoli, con degli zombie che di notte diventano dei veri e propri cacciatori e creature che hanno ben poco da spartire con i nonmorti.
