Monster Hunter World è stato rilasciato per Pc e console giusto lo scorso anno ed è già diventato uno dei prodotti di maggior successo della serie, vendendo più di 11 milioni di copie in tutto il mondo.

La Capcom ha inoltre dichiarato che, visti gli esiti finanziari del precedente anno fiscale, il gioco ha avuto tale riscontro grazie alla sempre costante popolarità e alle prestazioni dimostrate dalla versione rilasciata su Steam.

Monster Hunter World riceverà quest'anno un'importante espansione chiamata Iceborne, che porterà nuovi ambienti, nuovi mostri, nuove attrezzature da forgiare, un nuovo grado di difficoltà nelle quest e tanto altro.
