Microsoft e Moon Studios hanno svelato una nuova modalità di Ori and thw Will of the Wisps al Gamescom 2018, si tratta della modalità Spirit Trials che permette ai giocatori di effettuare gare in maniera asincrona con altri giocatori da tutto il mondo tramite internet.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps uscirà per Xbox One e PC nel 2019.
