Bethesda Softworks ha annunciato mediante la pubblicazione di un nuovo trailer che
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered uscirà su Nintendo Switch 2 l'11 agosto 2026. Il titolo era già uscito lo scorso 22 aprile per PlayStation 5, Xbox Series e PC tramite Steam e Microsoft Store. Il titolo è ovviamente una remastered dello storico action RPG del 2006, pubblicato inizialmente per PC, Xbox 360 e PlayStation 3 nel 2006, che verrà potenziato con texture in 4K e un frame-rate dichiarato a 60 frame per secondo.
Saranno incluse in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered le espansioni Knights of the Nine e The Shivering Isles, oltre che i DLC "Fighter's Stronghold", "Spell Tome Treasures", "Vile Lair", "Mehrune's Razor", "The Thieves Den", "Wizard's Tower", "Orrery" ed il controverso "Horse Armor Pack".
